One thing is certain about Washington, D.C., we are not being told the truth by our so-called leadership about many things, including the true origins and experiences of man on Earth. However, in May of 2005 I begin a deep dive on a wealth of information clearly indicating there is a hidden history regarding our Nation’s Capitol that is shocking.
Although my research has mainly focused on covert UAP / UFO activity in the District of Columbia, I recently came across some startling revelations about ancient ruins that allegedly existed at that location. If true, those buildings and tunnels would be from a time we generally call “Atlantis.”
In brief, I am certain there have been multiple global civilizations on earth despite what we have been told by historians. To make this article simple we will only focus on three of them using generalized titles:
- Atlantis
- Adamic
- American
The first two were destroyed due to “The War in Heaven” which was fought in our Universe and over time extended to Earth. This conflict has yet to be fully resolved because the Insurrectionists (aka Fallen Angels) are imprisoned here and have been allowed to rule for a period of time as part of an appeals process.
I realize this may sound like science fiction to some, but you know the old saying: Truth is stranger than Fiction. So, let’s look at some of the evidence that indicates Atlantis was a global, Luiciferian Empire run by the Fallen Ones, which was destroyed and rebuilt during the Adamic era only to be destroyed again and rebuilt into the American era.

Also, keep in mind that certain words we use now were also used by our ancestors, but the meaning is different. For example, the world “crystal” is used often in various texts, but it actually refers to a substance we now call “glass.”

Prior to the year 1600, the District of Columbia was the site of a very-old Native American village of the Nacotchtant people who believed in an entity named Okee which means the One Above.
He was a powerful spirit that was considered evil. These native people preserved the bones of their dead chiefs, and spiritual advisors, and then buried them in jars which are still being found in modern times. I found it interesting that the Nacotchtant “were noted for their skill in sorcery and the manufacture of many poisons.”
But this story gets even stranger. Someone reportedly created a labyrinth of tunnels under DC prior to, or parallel with, the habitation of the Nacotchtant Indians. And it is possible that someone, or something, is still living in the ancient tunnel complex under DC. According to an anonymous author:
In 1633, one of the first wealthy European’s in the New World, Francis Pope, arrived on Maryland’s Potomac River shore. After “purchasing” a large tract of land from the native Indians, he renamed the area Rome. It was later divided and sold to other wealthy Catholic men.
When the U.S. Congress of the newly-formed United States of America decided to make the District of Columbia the nation’s capital, the land was owned by a number of people, including the Carrolls of Duddington Hall and David Burnes, who owned a farmhouse between Goose Creek and Jenkins Hill.
On March 9, 1791, Pierre-Charles L’Enfant, a French soldier and military artist who had fought on the American side in the recent war, arrived in Georgetown to survey the proposed city site. David Burnes brought him to the farmhouseand introduced him to his wife, his teenage son John, and his younger daughter Marcia.
After dinner, as the men lit their clay pipes at the fireplace, David Burnes turned to his offspring and said, “Well, children, shall we show the monsieur our little secret?”
John grinned. “Absolutely, father!”
“Oh, yes, let’s show him!” Marcia said excitedly. “We’ll go there first thing tomorrow.”
The next morning, a slightly puzzled L’Enfant trailed Burnes and the children into the woods going west along Goose Creek. The air was lively with the honking of Canadian geese. They then turned north-west and walked nearly two miles uphill, into what is now known as Massachusetts Avenue Heights.
David carried with him an arm load of makeshift torches. John had a knotted climbing rope, and Marcia had a small leather pouch in which she held a hot coal from the farmhouse fireplace. Mildly curious, L’Enfant watched as David and his son John cleared away a pile of cut lilac bushes, revealing a dark fissure in the ground. Meanwhile, Marcia built a fire with her coal and some dry sticks.
After tying one end of the rope to a tree, John acted as the spotter as his father climbed hand over hand down the rope. L’Enfant followed suit, slipping over the crumbling rim into the cool darkness. Then, John lit two of the torches at the campfire and dropped them, one by one, into the small cavern fissure.
David Burnes caught the first torch and passed it to the Frenchman. Then, grabbing the second sputtering torch, he said, “Look behind you.” As L’Enfant did so, he gasped in amazement. Before him lay a man-made tunnel; complete with arches, and pillars, extending far into the darkness.
“Mon Dieu!” He exclaimed as he looked around in wonder. Turning to Burnes, he asked, “What is this place?”
“It’s a dead city,” David replied. “These tunnels go on for miles.”
“Who built it?” L’Enfant asked.
“Why, Tubalcain, of course.” David beamed, lifting his torch to illuminate the smooth tunnel wall. “He was the master builder mentioned in The Bible.”
L’Enfant brushed his hand over the seamless masonry. The material felt like Plaster of Paris. He struck it a sharp blow with the base of his roaring torch. The material was not even chipped! It was as durable as cast iron! With a shudder, L’Enfant peered down the shadowy corridor. He didn’t know who had built this place, but he was pretty sure it was not Tubalcain.
Of course, this could be just another tall tale, or it could be another aspect of the hidden history of Washington, D.C., aka new Rome (which is famous for its exorcisms).
I located a map of Washington from June of 1791. Just as described in the article above, on a section of his property along Goose Creek, is an area marked “Burnes Discovery.” We may never know for certain what this ancient tunnel system was connected to or what is was used for. However, it is quite likely that this ancient tunnel system is now linked up to the modern tunnel systems built in DC by the U.S. government.
A censored map of the extensive tunnel complex was recently released to the public by the Obama administration. These modern tunnels run in at least eight directions from the center of Washington and connect to the more than 90 underground government facilities reportedly surrounding the DC area.
The Massachusetts Avenue Heights section of Washington, D.C., is known to most people as Embassy Row, but to students of the occult, the area is called spookville. It is located right next to the Naval Observatory and the Admiral’s House which has been the residence of the U.S. Vice President since 1974. Extensive underground construction began there in 2002 and went on for many months.
It is not clear how the Burnes family learned of at least one of the ancient DC tunnels entrances. They may have been told by an elderly Nacotchtant spiritual advisor. Or, perhaps the Burnes children were playing on a hot July day and felt a cool breeze coming from the fissure.
The ancient tunnels are said to run underneath the major avenues in Washington, D.C., with smaller branch tunnels found under smaller streets like Whitehaven Street (which is also reportedly haunted) in the Massachusetts Avenue Heights area.
While researching this amazing aspect of DC’s history, I was introduced to an oral surgeon that used to lease an office on Rhode Island Avenue. He told me that he had been shown a modern tunnel under his office building that was large enough for vehicles to drive in. He had been shown this tunnel, which connected to other tunnels under DC, by an elderly plumber who had been using the tunnel systems since he was a young man decades ago.
Apparently, many of the basements of the buildings in DC are connected to these tunnels. In Jim Brandon’s book Weird America, it is reported that, “Dr. John Thornton investigated ancient glazed tunnels under Washington, D.C., which the founding fathers were allegedly aware of and over which several important government buildings in the nation’s capital were constructed.
These tunnels allegedly led to deeper underground systems beyond. I was told by two different [professional psychics] about the ancient network of caverns that supposedly honeycomb the DC area. It is claimed that these are Atlantean.”
