The Mag That Fell to Earth

Space meets spirituality in the pages of Unicus, "the Magazine for Earthbound Extraterrestrials." "Unicus" is the Latin root of "unique," and we feel sure that this Manhattan Beach, California, quarterly is one of a kind.

Within a typical Unicus "circle of contents," one might find a story about the discovery of an ancient Egyptian city in the Grand Canyon, proof of the theory that nuclear testing triggers earthquakes, and an interview with Bulgarian scientist Vladimir Terziski, who believes flying saucers are being built right here on earth.

Though Unicus connects most strongly with the earth and sky, it's not without scathing political commentary–a recent story titled "America: Land of the Free or Home of the Slave?" refers to the "malignant trinity" of the Federal-Reserve System, the 16th Amendment, and the Internal Revenue Service.
